{Maternity} Rausch

Do you ever meet someone for the first time and just know that they're a kindred spirit (please, someone get my Anne of Green Gables reference)? Well, when I met Brittney for the first time at a previous job five or so years ago, I knew she and I were simpatico. We both speak the languages of sarcasm and Redneck fluently, so there was pretty much nothing left to do but to bond.

A few months ago she sends me a message asking about doing a maternity photo shoot. I honestly didn't pick up on the hint that it could be for her (as she has older children-a teenager and a preteen) so I was very pleasantly surprised when she told me that she was pregnant! She's such a no-nonsense, kind, and fun young lady that I knew we were going to have a great time...I love it when I'm right :)
