One of the biggest compliments I receive as a photographer is being recommended by someone. Word of mouth is still the strongest form of advertising in this industry, and I am so thankful for friends and former clients that tell others about me.
Charla was told about me by a mutual friend, Elizabeth. Elizabeth and I used to work together at the Fredericksburg hospital. I remember exactly where I was when Charla called me, asking about photographing her wedding. My husband and I were taking our kids to the playground and I was about the close my car's door with the phone left in there when it started to ring. I answered and almost immediately Charla and I "clicked." When she and her fiance officially booked me for their December 30th wedding, as well as their engagements, I knew it was all going to be fun (Spoiler Alert: it was!).
We met up in Boerne, where Charla lived. I arrived early (as usual) to scout out the spot she had suggested. I was very pleased with her choice and set up a game plan. Charla, her fiance Tyler, and her nine year old son Connor, arrived and in almost no time, we were all laughing and cracking jokes while I captured pictures that describe their personalities and relationships perfectly.

To quote this young man "my handsomness broke your camera."

Look at those gorgeous legs!!
