{Seniors} Abby

I love taking part in Senior portraits (even though it often makes me feel old...) because it is just so fun to see all the different personalities of our youth. A few years ago, I was pleased to be asked to take a co-worker's daughter's senior portraits. It was April in the Texas Hill Country which means gorgeous fields of wild flowers and Texas' favorite flower: the Bluebonnet!

Abby was a delight to work with and very natural in front of the camera, plus she's beautiful.

We thought we were finished with the shoot after shooting in the field of yellow flowers, and as her dad was driving us back, I saw the gorgeous sunset and the Bluebonnets on the side of the road. I quickly yelled to stop and Abby and I jumped out of the truck on a mission to not miss the light. The result was my favorite photo of the entire session:
